Emma Watson and Alberta Ferretti Collection

Mar 30, 2011 No Comments by

Not satisfied with being one of Britain’s most successful young actresses, Emma Watson has now turned her hand to designing, bringing out a limited collection with Alberta Ferretti called Pure Threads.

The collection is not only pretty, with lace details, soft silhouettes  and light fabrics but is also eco-friendly, made with sustainable materials.

A portion of the profits are also being donated to the People Tree Foundation, who “create Fair Trade and organic clothing and accessories by forming lasting partnerships with Fair Trade, organic producers in developing countries.”

The collection is available exclusively online, and the designs are ideal for summer.   I love the long skirt,  although with prices starting at £220 for denim shorts, and reaching £700 for the short black dress, these items are not for Emma’s average fans!
