Top Summer Wedding Dresses

If you are lucky enough to be having a summer wedding then keep your fingers crossed that the beautiful sunshine we have been having recently holds out for your big day.

Chiffon is a popular choice for wedding dresses these days and rightly so – not only is it pretty and light but it also is great for keeping you cool. Organza fabric is a similar choice and will also allow for that lighter feeling but it tends to be sheerer than chiffon.

If you have been sunning yourself in the recent weather and fancy showing off a bit of a tan on your wedding day then you can pick a dress that lets you show off your best assets. Strapless, halter neck and sweetheart necklines will all allow you to show off your back and shoulders. If it’s a sunny day though make sure you get someone to grab some sun cream to make sure you do not end up with burnt bits!

If you are worried about getting chilly if the sun decides to stay behind the clouds then your best option is probably a wrap or shrug in a matching colour, or the colour of your accessories and/or flowers. It is always best to have a back up option as the British weather can be more than a little temperamental.
