Dany Atrache Couture Spring Summer 2010 Collection

French-Lebanese fashion designer Dany Atrache presented his Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2010 collection in Paris on January the 27^th at Galerie Nikki Diana Marquardt.  Over 500 seated VIP guests attended the show including fashion professionals, journalists, and international media in addition to royalty. Dany’s S/S 2010 couture collection showcases modern and sexy styles that are also ultra elegant and feminine. The muted pastel tones range from pink, grey, green, and pearl mixed with black. Each piece of the collection is intricately styled with heavy metal accents giving the collection an overall feel of modern edge.

Dany Atrache is considered one of the leading fashion trendsetters in the MEA.  He has been dressing the celebrities and the royalty of the Arab entertainment world with his unique and exquisite pieces.  In February 2009, he made his U.S debut where he presented his Spring/Summer 09 collection at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City. In October 2009, Dany personally chose a black lace and sequin dress for the Hollywood star “Regina Hall” to wear for the LA premiere of her latest movie “Law Abiding Citizen”, co staring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler.

Dany’s successful fashion journey began when he launched his own couture line in 2000, after working in Paris with top French fashion houses such as Dior. His stunning collection premiered at his first runway show in Beirut mesmerizing the audience with the exclusive designs.  Following his great success in Beirut, he expanded his shows to Paris where he hosted his first private fashion show in 2004. In 2007, Dany expanded his line and launched his ready-to-wear collection, “D by Dany Atrache”.

In 2008, he inaugurated his first RTW boutique located in down-town Beirut. The boutique showcases a wide selection of RTW and a collection of trendy accessories.
