I don't think a bridesmaid dress should have to be one color, one style, etc., but I think it should evoke a certain mood or theme. Somehow, it needs to tie in with the rest of the wedding. And I don't see this dress doing that in any sort of wedding, because it has too mny flavors thrown into the mix. That purple number is exquisite. A jewel. I don't think I'd want a bride to put me in it, though. I'm a bit too pear-shaped. My hips would be hurting. I love nontraditional weddings, but I have to agree with you on Patricia Avandano dress.
