More Toilet Paper Wedding Gowns

May 16, 2009 No Comments by Editor

photo_3When I first heard the buzz about toilet paper wedding gowns, I was a bit worried that I had missed one of my favourite fun wedding events of the year,  the Cheap Chic Wedding Gown design challenge.

But no! The blog post was drawing attention to a second toilet paper wedding dress contest, this time run by Canadian toilet paper brand ‘Cashmere’. (OK, I know I missed it last October, but the dresses are gorgeous, so I figured better late than never, and hey it’s kind of topical since  the original Cheap Chic contest announced the opening of it’s Fifth year of the contest last week.)

The Cashmere Collection takes toilet paper wedding gowns to a whole new level, commissioning professional designers to create amazingly detailed and complex gowns out of nothing more than a few (hundred) rolls of pink and white toilet paper.

Don’t worry, we will still be bringing you the latest designs from the Cheap Chic contest when the winners are announced in a few weeks.   In the meantime, if you fancy testing your designer skills, why not take part in the Cheap Chic contest to win up to $1000?

And to anyone who found this blog post looking for ‘cashmere wedding gowns’, my apologies!
