Guidelines for Contributing Authors
Pitching
Please send me a quick pitch for any article that you wish to write before going ahead with it. This allows me to both schedule and budget for articles and prevent authors from working on similar topics.
There is a list of needed articles here, or you can email me with your own ideas.
Posting
After you have had the green light for an article, you can enter it into WordPress. When finished, please save it as a draft and set the status as Pending Review.
DO NOT PASTE FROM A WORD DOCUMENT! Not only will this result in formatting errors for your article, but can break the entire blog. Please use Google Docs or Word Pad. You can also work on your article directly in WordPress, as it will not be published until you have set it as Pending Review, at which time I will be notified that I need to publish it.
If you can add images directly to your post, that’s excellent! If not, you can email them to me, letting me know which article they are for.
I reserve the right to tweak your article for improved SEO and/or revenue reasons. This is a necessary evil, but should not affect the quality of your final article. If you have a big problem with the edit at any time, feel free to discuss it with me.
Comments
We love comments! Go ahead and comment on other posts on the site.

Sometimes be controversial and opinionated.
Never be abusive or offensive.
